June is Pride Month — a celebration of LGBTQIA+ culture, activism and the spirit of acceptance and inclusion. This weekend, West Hollywood Pride takes center stage as one of the biggest Pride celebrations in the world, while the Dodgers host Pride Night at Dodger Stadium Friday evening. Beyond Pride, IGN Live brings 30 years of gaming culture to downtown LA and family-friendly events are popping up across the county. Metro can get you there. Here’s what’s happening.

West Hollywood Pride returns with OUTLOUD concerts, street fair and Sunday parade
West Hollywood Pride is back this weekend as one of the world’s premier Pride celebrations, taking over the city with four days of events. OUTLOUD at West Hollywood Park features performances from the Pussycat Dolls, Ava Max and more, while the WeHo Pride Street Fair, Dyke March and Sunday parade round out the weekend. Most events are free — OUTLOUD requires a separate ticket.

Go Metro: Take the D Line to Wilshire/La Cienega Station and connect to the WeHo Pride Ride shuttle to Melrose, running 5 p.m. to midnight with service approximately every 30 minutes. Metro Bus lines 2, 4, 10, 16 and 105 also serve West Hollywood. LA Dodgers host LA Angles for Pride Night weekend series at Dodger Stadium
The Dodgers welcome the LA Angels for a three-game home series at Uniqlo Field in Elysian Park, opening with Pride Night at Dodger Stadium on Friday evening. All three games are this weekend with Friday and Saturday night games at 7:10 p.m. and a Sunday afternoon finale at 1:10 p.m.

Metro Art and Architecture Tour offer free guided look inside iconic Union Station
Metro Art hosts free 90-minute guided tours of Union Station this weekend, offering insights into the station’s artworks, artists and art-making processes while introducing visitors to the Metro system. The English-language tour runs Saturday, and the Spanish-language tour runs Sunday, both meet at the information kiosk inside the historic station. The active tour moves throughout the building with elevators and escalators available.

IGN Live celebrates 30 years of gaming and entertainment at the Magic Box in downtown Los Angeles
IGN marks its 30th anniversary this weekend with IGN Live, a two-day gaming and entertainment celebration at the Magic Box at The Reef in downtown Los Angeles. Expect panels, activations and everything that has made IGN a cornerstone of gaming culture for three decades.
When: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Saturday & Sunday Where: Magic Box LA, 1933 S Broadway, DTLA Tickets: $25
Go Metro: Take the A Line to Grand/LATTC Station and walk about eight minutes to the venue or take Bus Line 4 to the Broadway and Washington Stop which drops you at the Magic Box.
Friday, June 5
Beautification Day at Pershing Square
Help Los Angeles Parks Foundation spruce up Pershing Square on Friday, June 5. Painting and planting are amongst the tasks that volunteers will be handling for this community project.
When: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Where: Pershing Square, downtown Los Angeles, Admission: Free
Go Metro: Take the B/D Line to Pershing Square Station and just the exit the station.
Celebrate L.A.’s finest jazz musicians with Jazz at LACMA, presented Friday evenings from May through October. This week, join LACMA for a concert with Paul Cornish Trio.
The outdoor concert takes place at the Smidt Welcome Plaza at LACMA on Wilshire Boulevard.

Go Metro: Take the D Line to Wilshire/Fairfax Station and walk a short distance to the LACMA.
Saturday, June 6
This Saturday is the Boyle Heights Youth Festival. The festival brings together thousands of community members for a day full of performances, resources food and celebration. Metro is proud to be a sponsor of the event. The event is free and takes place on 1st Street between Breed and St. Louis streets from 3 to 7 p.m.

Go Metro: Take the E Line to Soto Station and walk about 5 minutes to the event on 1st, you cannot miss the event because there will be a hub of activity.
Glendora A Line Night Market
Glendora is bringing classic rock vibes to the Night Market this weekend. The Burning Doors will treat guests to a special live performance. The event also features food trucks, activities and fun for the whole family.
When: 5-10 p.m. Where: 410 S Vermont Avenue, Glendora Admission: Free

F&M Bank Amphitheater Grand Opening in Downtown Long Beach
It is the grand opening of the F&M Bank Amphitheater in Downtown Long Beach. Legendary rapper, and Long Beach native Snoop Dogg will headline the venue’s grand opening celebration. The venue will be providing shuttles to the amphitheater from designated zones.

Qatar vs El Salvador BMO Stadium
In the lead up to the World Cup, Qatar’s national team faces off against El Salvador at BMO Stadium.

The Hollywood Bowl will feature many concerts this summer. Here’s a quick guide on how to get via Metro. More information could be found here.
Go Metro: Take the B Line to Hollywood/Highland Station. Then take the free shuttle or connect on Bus Line 222 to take you directly to the Hollywood Bowl.

It’s a classic early June pattern for the LA Metro area. A large low-pressure system dropping south along the West Coast will lower temperatures and deepen the marine layer through the weekend, bringing overcast mornings and cooler afternoons across most of the region.
Friday is the warmest and brightest day of the stretch, with highs in the upper 70s under mostly sunny skies. Enjoy it — things cool off from there. Saturday and Sunday both feature the familiar marine layer pattern: expect a gray and cloudy start to the morning, with low clouds clearing to near the beaches each afternoon before sunshine takes over. Highs this weekend will settle into the low to mid-70s, running 2 to 5 degrees below normal by Sunday, especially inland.
Next week stays cool and unsettled. Another low-pressure system is expected to follow close behind this weekend’s system, maintaining a cloudy and below-normal temperature pattern through midweek.
