Labor Day weekend is here, and Los Angeles is going out with a bang. BTS brings the Arirang World Tour to SoFi Stadium for two more nights; the Dodgers host Washington for a holiday weekend series at Uniqlo Field; and KCRW Summer Nights hits the Autry Museum and the NoHo Arts District for its final shows of the season. Summer isn’t over yet. Here’s what’s happening.

Long Beach Comic Con celebrates comics, cosplay, and pop culture at the Long Beach Convention Center.
Long Beach Comic Con returns to the Long Beach Convention Center this weekend for two days of comics, toys, film, TV, art, cosplay, and games. Whether you’re into Batman, Star Wars, Doctor Who or Power Rangers, this is your crowd.

LA Dodgers host the Washington Nationals for a weekend series with a drone show and bobbleheads at Uniqlo Field
The Dodgers close out the holiday weekend at home against the Washington Nationals. Friday brings a drone show, Saturday features a Yoshinobu Yamamoto Starter Series bobblehead, and Sunday’s giveaway is The Catch bobblehead with Andy Pages and Kiké Hernández.

BTS brings the Arirang World Tour back to SoFi Stadium for two final Los Angeles nights
BTS returns to SoFi Stadium in Inglewood Saturday and Sunday for the final two nights of their Los Angeles run on the Arirang World Tour. After sellout shows earlier in the week, the weekend closes out one of the most anticipated concert events of the summer.

Jazz at LACMA: Clayton Cameron Collective
Jazz at LACMA’s Friday evening series continues with Clayton Cameron Collective. It’s a free outdoor concert on the Wilshire corridor — one of the city’s great warm-weather traditions.

KCRW Summer Nights closes the summer at the Autry Museum with Wooden Wisdom in Griffith Park
One of the final KCRW Summer Nights of the season lands at the Autry Museum of the American West Friday evening. Wooden Wisdom brings a special vinyl guest DJ set to the museum’s outdoor space for a free, all-ages send-off to summer in Griffith Park.

North Hollywood Market celebrates local small businesses and NoHo culture at the station plaza
A new market comes to North Hollywood Station Saturday morning, spotlighting local small businesses and the creative culture of the NoHo Arts District. A free, community-centered gathering right at the Metro stop.

KCRW Summer Nights NoHo Arts District block party closes the season on Lankershim and Magnolia
KCRW Summer Nights wraps its 2026 season Saturday evening with a free block party in the heart of the NoHo Arts District. Electropop, rhythm and blues, and the energy of one of LA’s most creative neighborhoods make this the right way to close out the summer.
When: 6 p.m. Where: NoHo Arts District, 1136 Magnolia Blvd at Lankershim Blvd, North Hollywood. Admission: Free

Glendora A Line Night Market hosts an end-of-summer bash at Glendora Station
The Glendora Night Market closes out the season Saturday evening with a free outdoor celebration right at the station. Latin Soul Band headlines the music lineup for a night of community and good vibes at the end of the A Line.

Happy Labor Day weekend, Southern California! While the weather stays comfortable to start, Hurricane Marie churning in the Pacific will influence our weather this weekend, especially by Sunday. Marie is not expected to make landfall in California, but the storm will funnel tropical moisture into the region over the weekend, bringing increased clouds, higher humidity, and a real chance of showers.
Friday is the calm before the storm, with temperatures in the 70s to mid-80s — a few degrees below normal — under patchy morning clouds and mostly pleasant skies.
Saturday is when Marie starts making her influence felt. Humidity climbs, temperatures nudge slightly warmer and a slight chance of showers develops Saturday night, mainly over Los Angeles County. By Sunday, the biggest weather day of the weekend, tropical moisture streams in more aggressively. Rain chances Sunday are 40 to 50% for Los Angeles County. Any rainfall totals are expected to be light, generally a trace to around a quarter inch, though isolated spots could pick up closer to half an inch.
Beach hazards are in effect this weekend due to Marie. High surf and dangerous rip currents are expected along area beaches, please swim near a lifeguard, heed all posted warnings and stay out of the water if conditions look rough.
