Día de los Muertos at the Santa Monica Pier
The Santa Monica Pier is hosting a two-night Día de los Muertos celebration Friday and Saturday, with an amazing lineup of art and entertainment, ballet folklórico performances, altars by artists Sylvia Sanchez and Yolanda Medina, kid activities, an artisan market, live mariachi music, an art installation at the historic carousel, and a parade led by Aztec dancers on Saturday.

Día de Los Muertos Celebration at the San Gabriel Mission Playhouse
The Mission Playhouse hosts a Dia de Los Muertos Celebration Friday night at the Mission Playhouse Plaza, featuring a community altar, live music and refreshments.

Saturday, November 2
Black Men’s Wellness Day
A full day of activities for feeling good and promoting wellness, the Black Men’s Wellness Day will include free health screenings, live music, a 5k walk and run, and much more at the Michelle and Barack Obama Sports Complex in South L.A.

Go Metro: Take the E Line to Farmdale or Expo/La Brea Station
L.A. Clippers Basketball
The Clippers take on Oklahoma City on Saturday night at their new home in Inglewood, the Intuit Dome.
Go Metro: Take our free bus shuttle from Hawthorne/Lennox Station (C Line) or Downtown Inglewood Station (K Line) to the dome. The shuttles will start running at 20-minute intervals two hours before each game begins and at 10-minute intervals for one hour after each game ends.
L.A. Kings Hockey
The Chicago Blackhawks visit the Kings at Crypto.com Arena on Saturday afternoon.
Go Metro: Take the A or E Line to Pico Station, which is a one-block walk from Crypto.com Arena in downtown L.A. The Metro J Line bus, as well as other local bus routes, also stop near the arena.
Self-Help Graphics Día de los Muertos Celebration
The family-friendly 51st Annual Día de los Muertos Celebration will take place at the LA County Civic Center Park in East LA. Join Self-Help Graphics in a community procession via the Metro E Line from Mariachi Plaza to Civic Center stations. Please note a valid TAP card is required to ride. Then, stay for the main event’s showcase of altars, live music, local artists and artisans selling handmade goods, along with a marketplace packed with street food vendors.

Saturday and Sunday
Día de Los Muertos Parade Grand Parade + Arte Y Ofrendas Fesival
This weekend, downtown Long Beach hosts a Día de los Muertos parade along Pine Avenue, coinciding with an Arte y Ofrendas Festival at nearby Marina Green Park. The fun at the festival will feature live music and an artisan mercado.
Parade: Saturday, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with a route that stretches from Pine and 3rd Avenue to Shoreline Drive
Festival: Saturday 12 to 10 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. FREE

Sunday, November 3
Día de los Muertos at the Fowler Museum
The Fowler Museum at UCLA hosts an afternoon of Día de los Muertos activities, including tours of the Fowler exhibition Descanse en Paz: Memorial Paintings from 19th-Century Mexico, making mini ofrendas (altar offerings) and music from Mariachi Alta California.
