Black Men’s Wellness Day isn’t just an event – it’s a movement dedicated to understanding the health disparities that exist throughout Los Angeles County and taking steps toward building healthier, more resilient and empowered communities.
This year, we’re very proud to be a sponsor of this FREE day-long event right here in Los Angeles. This daylong event will take place at the Michelle and Barack Obama Sports Complex, right between the E Line’s Farmdale and Expo/La Brea stations. There, participants will be able to take advantage of free health screenings, live music, a 5k walk and run, and much more. Come find our Metro table where you can chat with us about many of our projects and programs such as the Vermont Transit Corridor, changes coming to the C and K Lines, and our LIFE fare discount program.
