Metro’s Public Safety Advisory Committee (PSAC) invites you to join our upcoming annual Community Listening Session on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. This year’s session will be held virtually on Zoom, making it easy for everyone to participate and share their thoughts from home.
PSAC works to make Metro a safer, more welcoming environment for both riders and employees. Guided by the belief that everyone deserves a secure and respectful experience, PSAC hosts these annual listening sessions to gather community input that helps shape Metro’s safety initiatives, station improvements, and related programs.
This year, we’ll be focusing on:
- Feedback about recent station upgrades and improvements.
- Updates on staffing – including the expansion of Metro Ambassadors and Transit Security Officers (TSOs)
- Several pilot programs are currently underway, such as taller faregates, Markets and Metro station activations.
Your perspective plays a vital role in helping Metro continue to improve safety and strengthen the transit experience for everyone.

Hello, I ride the 910 or 950 traveling Northbound to Stanley Mosk Court to work Morning Monday – Friday. The new bus design inside isn’t efficient for the amount of passengers riding. This bus should have provided more seats. Maybe a bus and a half longer. There is so many more people standing than seating. Maybe the designers need to ride the bus during rush hour traffic. Therefore you would understand the need for more seating.
