The Heart of the City at Los Angeles Union Station — an official World Cup Fan Zone — takes place June 25–28, offering fans a free, family-friendly gathering place in the heart of Downtown L.A. The four-day event will feature live match viewing, celebrity guests, soccer legends, live music, food trucks and interactive fan experiences.
Union Station is the busiest transit hub in our region and is easy to reach by transit. Ride Metro’s A, B, D or J Lines, Metrolink regional rail, Amtrak, local bus lines and Metro Bike Share. Plan your trip with the new Metro app. A regular fare for Metro buses and trains is $1.75 one-way or $3.50 round-trip — pay fare with credit, debit or TAP fare card.
The Fan Zone has proven extremely popular. It is now sold out for all four days.
Watch every match from Thursday through Sunday
The Fan Zone will serve as one of the region’s premier World Cup watch parties, showing every World Cup match played from Thursday, June 25, through Sunday, June 28.
Fans can gather to watch six World Cup matches each day on Thursday, Friday and Saturday on large screens throughout the Fan Zone. Sunday’s schedule includes the first Round of 32 knockout match of the tournament, raising the stakes as teams begin their quest for the World Cup title.
For supporters of South Korea, there could be even more reason to tune in. Depending on the final Group A standings, South Korea could qualify for Sunday’s Round of 32 match if it advances as a group runner-up.
Whether you’re cheering for the United States, Mexico, South Korea, Japan or another favorite nation, the Fan Zone offers a place to watch the action alongside fellow supporters from around the world.
Entertainment, special guests and fan experiences
The Los Angeles World Cup 26 Fan Zone will feature four days of live entertainment, soccer legends, celebrity guests and interactive activities.
Thursday, June 25
3–4 p.m. | Ticket Concourse
LAFC striker Jeremy Ebobisse will make a special appearance, bringing the hometown energy of Los Angeles’ MLS club to the heart of the World Cup celebration.
5:45 p.m. | Matchday Live!
The popular soccer media show Men in Blazers takes the stage ahead of the 7 p.m. USA match. Hosted by Roger Bennett, the show will feature USWNT captain Lindsey Heaps, actor Ty Burrell, former USMNT star Kyle Beckerman and former Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley.
Friday, June 26
2–3 p.m. | Ticket Concourse
Mexican football legend Ramón Ramírez will meet with fans for a special appearance and meet-and-greet.
3–4:30 p.m. | Ticket Concourse Main Stage
Electronic music artist Valentino Khan and legendary West Coast hip-hop icon DJ Quik and a special guest will perform live.

The LA Smorgasburg Food Truck Village will feature local favorites including 8E8 Thai Food, Chubby Corn, College Boy Cheesesteaks, Dear Neighbor Handrolls, Vchos Pupusa Truck, Waku Food and more.
Saturday, June 27

Mexican football legend Claudio Suárez and the official FIFA World Cup mascots will appear for a special fan meet-and-greet.

Grammy-winning musician Travis Barker joins forces with DJ Spider for a live performance before the afternoon matches begin.
Sunday, June 28

The D4 Band — a group of talented neurodivergent musicians presented by Special Needs Network as part of its LA Inclusive initiative — will perform in a celebration of inclusion, community and the power of music.
Fan Zone doors open daily at 10:30 a.m.
Parking information
Because of World Cup activities — including direct service to the matches on June 25 and June 28 — daily parking at Union Station will cost $65 from June 25-28. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Know before you go
To accommodate the Fan Zone and related World Cup activities, several traffic changes will be in effect around Union Station from June 25–28.
The Alameda Street entrance to Union Station will be closed during the event. Riders using pick-up and drop-off services should use the station’s Vignes Street entrance.
Metro Bus Lines 33, 40, 74 and 76 will operate on detours during portions of the event; for details please see Metro’s service alert page.
Motorists should also be aware of temporary freeway ramp and ExpressLanes access closures in the area.
Dress comfortably
Forecasts call for warm temperatures during the Fan Zone.
While many activities will take place inside historic Union Station — which is air conditioned — several attractions, entertainment areas and gathering spaces will be outdoors.
Visitors are encouraged to stay hydrated, wear sunscreen and bring a hat to stay comfortable while enjoying the festivities.
Union Station remains open
While the Fan Zone will bring additional visitors and activities to the station, Union Station will remain open for its normal daily operations. Metro rail and bus service, Metrolink and Amtrak service, station restaurants and other businesses located at the station will continue operating as usual throughout the event.
