Your priorities drove our planning. This past year, thousands of you shared your vision for Metro’s FY27 budget by participating in our interactive My Metro Budget Activity and My Metro Priorities. The results are now live on our interactive dashboard.
A Milestone for Community Engagement
Our communities showed up louder than ever. We welcomed over 1,000 more participants than the previous year, bringing over 7,500 total responses and more than 5,100 unique written comments.
This year’s participants reflect a highly diverse cross-section of our ridership:
- 71% travel by Metro bus or rail at least once a week.
- 48% reside in Equity Focus Communities (EFCs).
- 44% report a household income under $25,000.
- We saw a surge from seniors (11%), female riders (49%), Spanish speakers (15.5%), and youth under 18 (10%).
Your Top Priorities
When deciding where Metro should focus its resources, the public voice pointed directly to three critical areas: Public Safety, Service Frequency & Reliability and System Cleanliness.
