Ice at Santa Monica presented by Disney+
Ice at Santa Monica presented by Disney+, opens on Friday, November 8, 2024 and continues through January 20, 2025.
Located at the corner of Arizona Avenue and 5th Street, this rink offers the unique opportunity to skate under the California sun by day and the twinkling stars by night. Better yet, the E Line’s Downtown Santa Monica station is only a few blocks away.
This Friday, the rink will have its grand opening ceremonies between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. –– join in the fun and skate for FREE that night! The free skate sessions take place at 5:30 p.m., 7 p.m., 8:30 p.m., and 10 p.m. on a first come–first serve basis.
Holiday Ice Rink at Pershing Square
Holiday Ice Rink Pershing Square opens on November 21, 2024 and continues through January 12, 2025.
This popular rink has brought winter fun to sunny Los Angeles for over 20 years. At 7,200 square feet, it is the city’s largest outdoor rink, offering visitors professional-quality ice for skating and entertainment … right next to Pershing Square station on the B and D Lines. If you’re coming on the A and E Lines, Historic Broadway station is just a 12-minute walk from the rink.
Metro’s regular one-way fare is $1.75 and $3.50 roundtrip — a lot cheaper than gas and parking. Fares can be paid with TAP cards, which can be purchased from TAP vending machines at all Metro Rail and busway stations. Riders can also use their smartphones as a TAP card by downloading the TAP app, available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
