Our friends at KJLH radio are holding their annual Stuff-A-Bus toy drive this Friday, Dec. 13, to help ensure all children have gifts this holiday season.

To donate, please bring a new unwrapped gift for a child in need to one of three locations below between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Friday. KJLH on-air personalities will be on hand.

Metro is honored that we’ll have a holiday-themed bus at the event — at the McDonald’s at the corner of La Brea Avenue and Obama Boulevard. Our CEO Stephanie Wiggins will also visit Friday to represent Metro and support this great, altruistic effort that benefits the communities we serve.

Here are the locations where KJLH will be accepting donations, along with the radio personalities that will be there:

From KJLH: “For the past 25 years, Stevie Wonder and KJLH have been committed to making sure that kids in under-served communities received toys for the holidays. This promotion, in partnership with McDonalds, has helped KJLH collect toys from various locations, which are then sorted, inventoried and distributed across the Southland.”

KJLH is Los Angeles’ number one Black owned and operated radio station with a musical tradition spanning over 55 years and counting. Here’s a nice video that KJLH made following last year’s Stuff-A-Bus event.
