Calling all card collectors! The Front Row Card Show brings together enthusiasts of all stripes at the Pasadena Convention Center. Whether you’re into sports cards, Pokémon, Magic the Gathering, comic books or memorabilia, you’ll find a huge variety of vendors ready to help you buy, sell and trade. Hunt for that elusive chase card, complete your collection or just geek out with fellow collectors. Expect prizes, rare finds and plenty of opportunities to grow your collection. Saturday-Sunday. Go Metro: Take the A Line to Del Mar Station, and it’s a 5- to 10-minute walk to the Pasadena Convention Center.
Friday, January 30
Punk Rock Karaoke invites fans to unleash their inner rock star by singing — or screaming — their favorite punk anthems on stage, backed by an all-star live band. Whether you’re channeling your best Ramones, The Clash or Green Day, this is your chance to feel the rush of performing with a full band behind you. No judgment, just pure punk energy and good vibes. The Lodge Room. 7 p.m. Tickets start at $26.

Saturday, January 31
Celebrate the start of the 2026 season at DodgerFest, the ultimate fan experience at Dodger Stadium. This day-long celebration is packed with all things Dodger baseball — meet your favorite players, enjoy interactive games, catch live music, grab some food and soak up the pregame hype. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or just love the energy of Opening Day season, this is your chance to get pumped for another year of Dodgers baseball. It’s bleeding Dodger blue at its finest. Go Metro: Take Bus Line 4 to Sunset/Vin Scully stop and walk about 5 to 10 minutes to the stadium.
New Edition, Boyz II Men and Toni Braxton at the Kia Forum
R&B legends New Edition, Boyz II Men and Toni Braxton take over the Kia Forum this weekend for an all-star extravaganza. Get ready to dance to all the hits and slow jams from these iconic acts who defined ’90s R&B. From “Candy Girl” to “End of the Road” to “Un-Break My Heart,” this nostalgic concert is packed with the classics that soundtracked a generation. It’s the ultimate throwback night. Kia Forum. 8 p.m. Tickets start at $168.85.

Sunday, February 1
Griffith Park Half Marathon & 5K
The annual Griffith Park Run Half Marathon & 5K is back, benefiting the Los Angeles Parks Foundation. The half-marathon winds through Griffith Park’s main trails, taking runners past iconic landmarks like the Merry-Go-Round and the Autry Museum. The 5K offers a scenic, flat and shaded route — and for the first time, your four-legged friends can join you. Dogs are now allowed to register as participants and run alongside their owners in the 5K.
Whether you’re chasing a personal record or just enjoying a morning run through one of L.A.’s most beloved parks, this is your chance to lace up for a good cause. The half-marathon starts at 7:30 a.m., while the 5K kicks off at 10 a.m. Registration starts at $59.30.

Exploring History Through One Night In Miami at the Academy Museum
Director Regina King and writer-producer Kemp Powers bring their powerful 2020 film “One Night in Miami” to the Academy Museum on Sunday. Join them for an afternoon screening followed by an insightful conversation moderated by Ellen C. Scott about the film that imagines a pivotal 1964 meeting between Malcolm X, Muhammad Ali, Jim Brown and Sam Cooke. It’s a rare chance to hear directly from the creators about bringing this transformative moment in Black history to life on screen. Academy Museum. 1:30 p.m. Tickets $5.
Go Metro: Take the D Line to Wilshire/Normandie Station and connect to Bus Line 20 to Wilshire/Curson, then it’s a short walk to the museum.
