TWICE: THIS FOR WORLD TOUR
K-pop superstars TWICE bring their THIS IS FOR WORLD TOUR to Los Angeles this weekend, with shows at the Kia Forum. The nine-member girl group has been electrifying crowds all week, and this weekend’s performances promise all the high-energy choreography, stunning visuals and infectious pop hits that have made TWICE global sensations. Don’t miss your chance to catch one of K-pop’s biggest acts live.
Go Metro:Take Bus Line 115 to Prairie/Manchester or take Bus Line 211 or 212 to Prairie/Kelso. Both stops are a short walk from the Kia Forum.
Friday, January 23
An art exhibition made for the community, by the community in South Los Angeles. Curated by Zay Monae, this gallery showcases powerful works from the Slauson, Crenshaw and Inglewood Photo Walks, capturing the neighborhoods, people and culture that make South L.A. unique. It’s a celebration of community storytelling through the lens of local photographers. RSVP required. 9 a.m.-5 p.m. RIOS, 3010 Exposition Place. Free.

Rewriting History with Fabiola Jean-Louis
The Getty Center presents “Rewriting History,” a powerful photographic series by artist Fabiola Jean-Louis that explores the intersection of Black aesthetics and historical reimagining. Through stunning imagery, Jean-Louis places Black women into a surreal historical landscape, reclaiming the visual language of European nobility and colonialism by centering Black femme bodies in period dress and settings. FREE.
Go Metro: Take Bus Line 761 to Sepulveda/Getty Center, and it’s a short walk to the Getty Center.
Saturday, January 24
PBS SoCal Weather Hunters Screening
PBS SoCal brings Weather Hunters to life at the Natural History Museum with America’s most beloved weathercaster, Al Roker. Explore the science of weather through hands-on activities and special screenings of PBS SoCal’s new animated series featuring 8-year-old weather detective Lily Hunter and her dog, Cumulus. It’s a perfect blend of education and entertainment for curious kids and weather enthusiasts of all ages. Natural History Museum. 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. Tickets start at $7.
Go Metro: Take the E Line to Expo/USC Station, and it’s a short walk to the museum.
Sunday, January 25
NFC Championship Watch Party at SoFi Stadium
The LA Rams head to Seattle to battle the Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game, and SoFi Stadium is throwing a massive watch party for Rams fans who want to experience it together. Watch every play on the massive Infinity Screen as the Rams fight for a spot in the Super Bowl. Before kickoff, enjoy activations in American Airlines Plaza and snag discount merchandise, including jerseys at 50% off. It’s game day energy without the road trip. Free parking at SoFi.
Go Metro: Take Bus Line 115 to Manchester/Kareem, Bus Line 117 to Prairie/Century or Bus Line 212 to Prairie/Kelso. Note: Metro will not be running the free SoFi shuttle for this event.
Pasadena Comic-Con brings pop culture to life for fans of all ages. Dive into a weekend packed with panels, toys, celebrity guests and featured artists celebrating comics, gaming, anime and everything in between. Whether you’re hunting for rare collectibles, meeting your favorite creator or just soaking up the geek culture vibes, this is your community. Come in costume or come as you are — all are welcome. Pasadena Convention Center. Tickets start at $25.
Go Metro: Take the A Line to Del Mar Station, and it’s about a 10-minute walk to the convention center
L.A. Clippers vs Brooklyn Nets
The LA Clippers take on the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday night at Intuit Dome. Watch the Clippers defend home court in this cross-conference matchup that’ll showcase some serious talent on both sides. 6 p.m.
Go Metro: Connect to a free bus shuttle at Hawthorne/Lennox Station (C Line), Downtown Inglewood Station (K Line) or LAX/Metro Transit Center (C/K Lines). Note that boarding at Hawthorne/Lennox Station will be on Hawthorne Bl heading southbound (opposite side of SoFi shuttle boarding location). The shuttles will start running at 20-minute intervals two hours before each game begins and at 10-minute intervals for one hour after each game ends.
Bike Share Adventure: Mid-City Roll
Join Walk n’ Rollers on a beginner ride through Mid-City on Sunday, January 25. This is a great event for those who are bike-share-curious. The ride is free and will include prizes, giveaways, and lessons in using Metro Bike Share and how to it seamlessly incorporate it into your life. This 6.5-mile ride through Mid-City connects parks, recreation spaces and public art, including LACMA, La Brea Tar Pits, and Queen Anne Recreation area. Metro Bikes are available to anyone 16+ but does require RSVP.
Go Metro: Take Bus Line 28 to Olympic/Fairfax or Bus Line 217 to Fairfax/San Vicente stop near Tom Bergin’s Irish Pub.
Go Metro Weekend Forecast
We’re tracking cooler weather heading into the weekend. Friday will start off with overcast skies and a slight chance of light rain in the morning. Most areas will stay dry through the afternoon, with highs in the 60s under mostly cloudy skies. Also, be on the look out for patchy fog in the morning too.
Saturday and Sunday will feel more seasonable, with a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the upper 60s to low 70s. Overall, it’ll be a calm and comfortable weekend across Southern California.
