L.A. Zoo Animal Lights: Animals Aglow
Light up your life at the L.A. Zoo Lights, the city’s wildest holiday tradition. Lanterns, lights and exotic animals await. The event features a giant walk-in kaleidoscope, seasonal treats and cocktails, and photo ops throughout the park, including Santa Claus himself. Tickets start at $19. Through Jan. 11.
Go Metro: Take the A Line to Lincoln/Cypress Station and transfer to Bus Line 296 or take the bus directly and get off at L.A. Zoo stop in Griffith Park.
Los Angeles Auto Show
The L.A. Auto Show revs up this weekend at the L.A. Convention Center, and it’s a car lover’s dream. This isn’t just any auto show, it’s one of the most influential gatherings in the global automotive world, sprawling across more than 1 million square feet of cutting-edge vehicles and innovation. From electric dream machines to classic beauties, the show brings together everything driving the future of the automobile. Tickets start at $25. Through Nov. 30.

Camp Flog Gnaw
After being delayed by rain last week, Camp Flog Gnaw is finally here. Tyler the Creator’s beloved music festival returns this weekend with a stacked lineup of hip-hop, R&B and pop artists that’ll have you vibing all day. But it’s more than just music — expect a carnival-like atmosphere packed with rides, games, food and that signature Flog Gnaw energy celebrating individuality and inclusion. Through Nov. 23.
Go Metro: Take the A, B, D or J Line to Union Station and catch the free shuttle directly to Dodger Stadium – the shuttle leaves from the Alameda Street side of the station.
Sabrina Carpenter Wraps Up L.A. Tour
Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet Tour concludes in L.A. this weekend. The pop star brings her chart-topping hits to Crypto.com Arena on Saturday and Sunday, November 22 and 23 you won’t want to miss. 7-9 p.m.

Friday, November 21
Word Of Japanese Jazz: Afro-Mingei / A listening Party
Step into a world of Japanese jazz with artists like Ryo Fukui, Hiroshi Suzuki, Sadao Watanabe, Kimiko Kasai and others, celebrating the premiere of Takuro Okada’s new album Konoma. Sip Japanese whiskey in a hidden garden oasis while soaking in smooth, soulful sounds. It’s an intimate evening for true jazz heads. Tickets are $15. 7-10 p.m.

L.A. Kings Hockey

A Nostalgic Night with Macaulay Culkin
Now this is a Christmas treat. Macaulay Culkin is making an appearance at the Terrace Theater in downtown Long Beach for a special 35th anniversary screening of “Home Alone.” The beloved holiday classic gets the big-screen treatment, followed by a Q&A with the actor himself. Whether you grew up watching Kevin McCallister defend his house or you’re discovering the film for the first time, this is a can’t-miss evening for movie lovers of all ages. Terrace Theater, 300 E. Ocean Blvd. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $68.35.

UCLA Football
UCLA hosts Washington State at Rose Bowl Stadium this Saturday. 7:30 p.m.

Sunday, November 23
Netflix x CicLAvia—Melrose Ave: Stranger Things 5 One Last Ride
Netflix and CicLAvia are teaming up for an epic “Stranger Things” ride along Melrose Avenue. This car-free celebration brings together cyclists, skaters and pedestrians for a 6-mile stroll down one of L.A.’s most iconic streets in honor of the show’s final season. For one day only, Melrose Avenue transforms into Hawkins itself, where the familiar collides with the mysteries of the Upside Down. Fans, this is your last adventure. Don’t miss it. 9 a.m.-3 p.m. FREE.
Go Metro: Take the B Line to Vermont/Beverly or Vermont/Santa Monica to access the route on Melrose Avenue.
LA Rams Football
The Rams held off the Seattle Seahawks last weekend at SoFi Stadium and grabbed first place in the NFC West. This weekend they’re up against another potential playoff foe in Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 5:20 p.m-8:20 p.m.
Go Metro: The free SoFi Stadium shuttle connects fans to the action from the LAX/Metro Transit Center. Take the Metro C or K Line – or other local bus lines such as Big Blue Bus Line 3 and Culver Citybus Line 6 – to the LAX/Metro Transit Center and hop aboard the shuttle at bus bay 8. After a soggy stretch, Southern California should finally get a break from the rain this weekend. We’ll have some light rain scattered throughout the day but it shouldn’t’ disrupt any of your plans. Highs will stay in the 60s with mostly cloudy skies.
By Saturday and Sunday, expect a noticeable warm-up as drier air moves in. Skies will be partly sunny, and temperatures will climb into the low to mid-70s. It’s shaping up to be pleasant weather heading into the Thanksgiving holiday week, perfect for any outdoor plans or early travel.
