L.A. Comic Con, L.A. Convention Center
It’s a weekend for geeking out at L.A.’s ginormous meetup for fans of comics, gaming, cosplay, anime and pop culture.

Saturday, October 5
Culver City Art Walk and Roll Festival
Grab your sunblock and head to the Culver City celebration, featuring two stages of live music, wine and beer gardens, food trucks, a kid zone, art galleries and interactive art experiences. Washington Boulevard between La Cienega and Helms Avenue will be closed to traffic for the day to make way for the festival.

Dodgers
The Dodgers’ quest to return to the World Series begins on Saturday when they host the Padres or Braves in the National League Divisional Round of the playoffs.
Go Metro: The Dodger Stadium Express is running from the South Bay and Union Station — and will run as long as the Dodgers keep playing.
South Bay: Dodger Stadium Express stops at Harbor Gateway Transit Center, which is served by the J Line and other local buses. The Dodger bus also stops at Slauson, Manchester, Harbor Freeway, Rosecrans stations along the J Line.
Union Station is served by the A, B and D Lines, the J Line bus and many local bus lines.
Parking: $8 at Union Station; free at Harbor Transit. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis at both lots.
Heads-up! With sellout crowds expected and most folks sticking around until the end of the game, there may be a wait for buses after the game. One way to avoid lines? It’s a 1.2-mile and downhill walk from the ballpark to the Metro A Line’s Chinatown Station. Here’s your walking route:
LUMINEX 3.0: Landscape Frequencies, Downtown LA
Outdoor art experience LUMINEX will transform downtown LA into an outdoor gallery for one night only. Buildings in the South Park District will become giant canvases, showcasing the work of cutting-edge multimedia artists, including JOJO ABOT, Refik Anadol, Alice Bucknell, Nao Bustamante, Petra Cortright, Marc Horowitz, Carole Kim and Sarah Rara, with special installations by Los Angeles Video Artists (LAVA).

Muertos Artwalk, Olvera Street in downtown LA
Olvera Street merchants and local artists help kick off the Dia de los Muertos festivities with a family-friendly Muertos Artwalk. Check out unique artwork, jewelry, traditional clothing and face painting. Also, don’t miss the sounds and colorful sights from the live entertainment throughout the day, including folklórico and Aztec dance performances. When: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. FREE

What Water Wants Opening at Clockshop, Lewis MacAdams Riverfront Park
Clockshop hosts an opening celebration for artist Rosten Woo’s audio tour What Water Wants, presented as part of the PST ART: Art & Science Collide initiative. This immersive experience by the LA River will feature hands-on workshops with artist Misa Chhan and mycologist Danielle Stevenson, special educational activities with California State Parks and The Nature Conservancy, tunes by DJ Muezette and timed tours. Over-the-ear headsets will be provided for the tours and the timed slots can be reserved to save your spot. FREE

Brewery Artwalk
The Brewery Artwalk is an exciting two-day showcase of over 100 resident artists, offering folks a chance to chat with makers, view new artwork and shop directly from the artists. FREE

Green Bay Packers at LA Rams, SoFi Stadium
The Rams host the storied Green Bay Packers and their Cheesehead fans at SoFi Stadium at 1:25 p.m.
