Listening by Moonrise
Clockshop’s Listening by Moonrise quarterly series comes to the L.A. State Historic Park on Friday night, with performances by Los Angeles-based artists Maral and SY3, plus projected visuals by Annapurna Kumar. An RSVP is required to attend, and suggested donation is $5-$10.

Fuerza Regida in Concert
Straight out of San Bernardino, the band Fuerza Regida comes to the Intuit Dome for the final stop on their Pero No Te Enamores tour, with back-to-back performances Friday and Saturday.
Go Metro: Metro is running a free shuttle to the Intuit Dome for select events in November from the C Line’s Hawthorne/Lennox Station — including the Fuerza Regida concerts. More info here. Other options include Metro Bus Lines 117 (Century Boulevard) or 212 (La Brea Av/Prairie Av) or Torrance Transit Line 10, with stops adjacent to the Intuit Dome. Please keep in mind the C and K Lines were reconfigured Nov. 3rd — the C Line now runs between Norwalk and the new Aviation/Century Station. Night Games at the Music Center
The Music Center and IndieCade team up for Night Games, which showcases the creativity and innovation of the indie game community for two nights of action-packed fun, with tons of solo and multi-player games to enjoy. This immersive experience takes over the Jerry Moss Plaza at the Music Center.

Saturday, November 16
L.A. Kings Hockey
The Kings went 3-1 last week and are still on top of the Pacific Division. The Detroit Red Wings and their fans visit the Kings at 5 p.m. on Saturday for an always entertaining matchup.
Go Metro: Take the A or E Line to Pico Station, which is a one-block walk from Crypto.com Arena in downtown L.A. The Metro J Line bus, as well as other local bus routes, also stop near the arena.

SPARKLE DTLA Grand Debut
The 2024 edition of The Bloc’s holiday lights installation SPARKLE DTLA kicks off on Saturday with exciting giveaways and special live performances by the Colburn Choir and Laura Marano. Don’t miss the countdown to the lighting ceremony and a dazzling show synched to festive tunes.

USC Football

Renegade Craft
Looking to get a head start on your holiday shopping? The Renegade Craft market pops up for two days at the L.A. State Historic Park. The market will feature more than 275 craft designers, artists and small businesses offering handmade gifts and creative goodies.

Sunday, November 17
L.A. Chargers Football
Come Sunday evening at SoFi Stadium, it’s a rematch of the Freezer Bowl — the now ancient AFC title game in early 1982 that propelled the visiting Cincinnati Bengals to their first Super Bowl. The Chargers are chasing a playoff spot and this game could have tiebreaker ramifications come January. The Bengals’ Joe Burrow is having his finest season yet but the Chargers have Justin Herbert.

Natural History Museum Commons Opening Day Celebration
Change is coming to Exposition Park: it’s opening day for the NHM Commons, a new community hub at the Natural History Museum Los Angeles. The opening day block party will show off the new indoor/outdoor space with live music, special performances, plus food and drinks by South LA Café. Note: While events on the Commons Plaza and Theater will be free to the public on this day, you’ll need to purchase a ticket to check out the exhibits and activations inside the museum.
