Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree
If you’re a big fan of holiday music, you’ll want to head to the Original Farmers Market for a special Christmas celebration featuring musical performances by The Holly Belles, Greenway Fairfax High School Dance Company, The MoonRays, Grand Arts High School Holiday Jazz Carolers and the ‘90s/2000s cover band, y2k2k. Find fun for the entire family with complimentary hot chocolate, a photo booth, a gift wrapping station, and temporary tattoos and body art at Dylan’s Candy Bar.

CAAM Kwanzaa Kuumba Celebration 2024
California African American Museum hosts a Kwanzaa celebration in honor of Kuumba — also known as creativity—one of the holiday’s seven principles. Start off with a 60-minute yoga session followed by an interactive family storytime and zine-making workshop with AbleARTS.

Echo Park Community Parade
Echo Park’s 54th annual Community Parade rolls down Sunset Boulevard this Saturday for a festive morning, with a special appearance by Santa and his elves. The route runs from Vin Scully to Park Avenue. The fun kicks off at 11 a.m. FREE
Go Metro: Take Line 603 to Alvarado/Sunset
Winter Wellness Bash at Exposition Park
You don’t want to miss the Winter Wellness Bash, a jam-packed day of live entertainment, family fun (including yoga and a 5k!) as well as dozens of free health screenings and other resources for you and your family. In addition to giveaways — including toys! — Metro will have a few tables with tons of information about our projects, discounted fares and so much more.

Marina Del Rey Holiday Boat Parade
Looking for a unique holiday experience? Try the holidays on the water, such as the Marina del Rey Holiday Boat Parade, featuring live music, food trucks and a pre-parade lightshow. Find a cozy spot to watch the parade at Burton Chace Park or Fisherman’s Village.
4 to 8 p.m.: boat parade begins 6 p.m.
Go Metro: Take Line 108 to Mindanao/Lincoln
Sunday, December 15
L.A. Chargers Football
The Bolts host the Buccaneers in a game with playoff implications for both teams.
Go Metro: Our free SoFi Stadium Shuttle runs between the C Line’s Hawthorne/Lennox Station and the stadium. Please keep in mind the C and K Lines have been reconfigured — the C Line now runs between Norwalk and the new Aviation/Century Station. The K Line is temporarily running in two segments: between Redondo and Aviation Century and between Westchester/Veterans and Expo/Crenshaw. Transfer between the C and K Lines at Aviation/Century.

Holiday Block Party in the Arts District
Makeshift Muse, in partnership with Angel City Brewery and Truly LA, brings a holiday block party full of fun, food, music and shopping to the Arts District in downtown L.A. Get ready to explore goodies and gifts from more than 50 local vendors who will set up along Rose and Traction avenues.

Go Metro: Take the A or E Line to Little Tokyo Station
L.A. Lakers Basketball
The Lakers return home with a Sunday evening game against Memphis.
Go Metro: Take the A or E Line to Pico Station, which is a one-block walk from Crypto.com Arena in downtown L.A. The Metro J Line bus, as well as other local bus routes, also stop near the arena.

USC Men’s and Women’s Basketball
The women’s team hosts Elon at noon on Sunday and the men’s team hosts Montana later in the day at Galen Center.
Go Metro: Take the E Line to Jefferson/USC Station, which is across Jefferson Boulevard from Galen Center.
