Clippers and Lakers Basketball
This should be fun: back-to-back games with the Lakers hosting the Clippers on Friday and Sunday evening at Crypto.com Arena. Both teams are trying to lock down playoff spots.
Go Metro: Take the A or E Line to Pico Station, which is a one-block walk from Crypto.com Arena in downtown L.A. The Metro J Line bus, as well as other local bus routes, also stop near the arena.

Mardi Gras at Benny Boy Brewing
Looking for a New Orleans experience to celebrate Mardi Gras? Benny Boy Brewing in Lincoln Heights will host a Mardi Gras celebration with beads, brews, a puppy parade and a live 5-piece jazz band. You’ll have a chance to fill up on gumbo and po’boys from Thicc Burgers (1 to 8 p.m.) or Craw Daddy Boiler, serving up cajun seafood and king cake (6 to 11 p.m.).

PST ART Open House at The Ebell
PST ART Open House at the Ebell offers a day and night of art to conclude PST ART: Art & Science Collide, a Southern California art event. The open house event will feature the taping of a new game show pilot from Radiolab, a pop-up art-science book fair from Printed Matter, visions of alien life from the Berggruen Institute, artists and scientists in conversation, plus music and performances.

Wellness & Waves Festival
Welcome your weekend at the beach with Santa Monica Pier’s Wellness & Waves Festival, an all-day experience that doubles as a benefit for the L.A. Wildfire Relief. It’s free to attend — and donations are encouraged! The lineup will include wellness talks and guided meditations, plus live music and a deep exhale dance party to end the afternoon.

L.A. Zine Fest at the Broad
L.A. Zine Fest pops up at the Broad Museum’s East West Plaza for two days of all things D.I.Y. publishing, all presented in conjunction with the Broad’s collection exhibition, Joseph Beuys: In Defense of Nature. The event will feature hands-on workshops, panel discussions and zine exhibitors, plus plenty of art to see inside the museum galleries.

Blue White and Gold Pop-Up at Common Space
For our L.A. Galaxy fans, a Blue White and Gold Pop-Up comes to Common Space Brewery in Hawthorne for its third ever event. The pop-up will feature a variety of small businesses owned by LA Galaxy fans, and unites multiple fan groups all in one location. Come for the shopping and stay for sipping on brews as the Galaxy take on Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
