Arts Party: Transcend at The Hammer Museum
A special event for college students, the Hammer’s annual Arts Party will welcome students from all over Southern California to enjoy live music, art-making workshops from Self-Help Graphics and LA Zine Fest, and after-hours access to the galleries.

The 15th Eclectic Music Festival and Art Crawl
South Pasadena’s Eclectic Music Festival and Art Crawl will feature dozens of musical acts on stages and intimate venues around the city’s business district. The family-friendly festival will also feature a kid zone, art activities, an artisan pop-up market, food trucks and beer gardens.

L.A. Clippers Basketball at the Intuit Dome
The LA Clippers play at home this Game 4 of the Western Conference First Round, and they remain locked in combat with the Denver Nuggets. Come out and watch this exciting matchup!
Go Metro to Intuit Dome for L.A. Clippers home games by connecting to a free bus shuttle at Hawthorne/Lennox Station (C Line) or Downtown Inglewood Station (K Line). Note that boarding at Hawthorne/Lennox Station will be on Hawthorne Bl heading southbound (opposite side of SoFi shuttle boarding location). The shuttles will start running at 20-minute intervals two hours before each game begins and at 10-minute intervals for one hour after each game ends. In addition, Intuit Dome provides complimentary park and ride shuttles from Union Station (A, B and D Lines). The shuttles leave from two hours before the door time through the event start time. The shuttles will depart the Intuit Dome for two hours after the event.
L.A. Times Festival of Books
The 30th Los Angeles Times Festival of Books comes to the USC campus this weekend to celebrate LA’s vibrant literary scene. You’ll find exhibitors, speakers, music, and so much more, offering book lovers of all ages a chance to hear from their favorite authors, poets and celebrities.

Sunday, April 27
Fiesta Broadway
On Sunday, Broadway between 1st and 4th Streets in downtown L.A. closes to traffic for the annual Fiesta Broadway, a Cinco de Mayo celebration featuring Lucha Libre matches, music, a vendor market, games, sports activities and a kids play area.
11 a.m. to 6 p.m. FREE
Go Metro: Take the A or E Line to Historic Broadway Station or take the B or D Line to Civic Center/Grand Park Station
Cinco de Mayo Family Day at LA Plaza
LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes hosts their annual celebration of Cinco de Mayo this Sunday with live music, art workshops and dance, including performances by Ballet Floklórico Flor de Mayo and Santa Monica College Global Motion World Dance Company.
12 to 4 p.m. FREE
Go Metro: Take the A, B or D Line to Union Station, and it’s a short walk across Alameda Street and the Olvera Street plaza.
