L.A. Fleet Week 2025
L.A. Fleet Week is an annual celebration of our nation’s sea services military at the L.A. Waterfront. Come for the aircraft flyovers and ship tours, and stay for cook-off competitions, talent shows and musical performances by members of the U.S. military. It’s going to be jam-packed with fun for the entire family all weekend!
May 23-26. FREE. Advance sign-up is required for ship tours.

2025 WeHo Pride Arts Festival
The City of West Hollywood is kicking off its 2025 Pride festivities with a weekend full of arts and culture at the L.A. LGBTQ Center. The WeHo Pride Arts Festival will showcase comedy, dance, theater and musical performances, and a sing-along cabaret show … just to name a few of the highlights.

LA Sparks at Crypto.com Arena
Looking for your basketball fix? On both Friday and Sunday, the Sparks will meet not one but two rivals at Crypto.com Arena – first, they’ll take on the Golden State Valkyries before they face the Chicago Sky this Sunday. Both matchups look to be close –come cheer them on!
Go Metro: Take the A or E Line to Pico Station, which is a one-block walk from Crypto.com Arena in downtown L.A. The Metro J Line bus, as well as other local bus routes, also stop near the arena. Tips for your game day trip.
Friday, May 23
Friday Movie Nights at Ovation Hollywood
Ovation Hollywood’s outdoor movie series will start up for the summer with Crazy Rich Asians. RSVP in advance and receive a blanket and complimentary popcorn voucher from the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres (while supplies last).
Check-in starts at 5 p.m.; movie begins at 7 p.m.
Go Metro: Take the B Line to Hollywood/Highland Station
SLS Takeover in Santa Monica
Street League Skateboarding takes over the Santa Monica Pier with a mashup of skating and a who’s who of local foodie hotspots, such as Villa’s Tacos, Heavy Handed, 10/10 Burgers, Prince Street Pizza, Miya Miya, Uncle Paulie’s, 27 Club Coffee and Tacos 1986. Grab a bite to eat and catch all the action as skaters compete on a custom-built course on the pier.

Saturday, May 24
Angel City Soccer at BMO Stadium
Angel City returns to BMO for a Saturday night matchup against Racing Louisville – the last match – and predicted to be a nailbiter! – before a short international break.
Go Metro: Connect to the E Line and exit Expo Park/USC, or take the J Line bus to 37th St/USC. Tips for your game day trip.
Latin Sounds at LACMA
The Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s live music series, Latin Sounds, features renowned artists performing everything from Indigenous music to sounds from Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, Mexico, Peru and, of course, Los Angeles! This week, Echo Park Project and Soul Sauce will perform at the kick-off of the Saturday series.

Santa Monica Ice Cream Ride
Let’s ride bikes and go eat ice cream! This community bike ride is a short and sweet, easy-paced, social adventure intended for all levels. It’s a terrific chance to get to know the neighborhood’s bike lanes as you head to ice cream shops, Handel’s and Yoga-urt, and then loop back around to the 17th Street Station start/finish.
Meet up at 10:30 a.m., start riding at 11 a.m. Helmet recommended

Sunday, May 25
Bikes and Bites Community Ride
Houston, we have a pattern: bikes and yummy eats! Metro Bike Share is hosting a community ride around the Arts District this Sunday. The five-mile adventure – intended for all levels of bike riders – will start and end at the Row DTLA Metro Bike Share station, which is just a few steps away from Smorgasburg LA’s get-in-my-belly heaven.
