Join LA County commuters as we celebrate the 39th annual California Rideshare Week from October 7 – 11. This weeklong event encourages commuters to leave their car at home and try ridesharing options such as carpooling, bus or train, vanpooling, bicycling, or walking. It’s your chance to “Drive Less, Save More,” and enjoy an affordable, earth friendly, and stress-free trip to work.

Track your daily trips for a chance to win prizes!
From October 7 – 11, track the days you rideshare (or telework) using the commute calendar at www.ridematch.info. You’ll be entered into a random drawing for a chance to win some great prizes, including Metrolink passes, Brighton Collectibles handbags, and $50-$100 gift cards to Macy’s, District Restaurant, Joey’s DTLA, Uniqlo, Best Buy, Nike, Ralph’s, REI, Starbucks, Vons, and more! Employers can participate too!
Employers can spread the word about the benefits of ridesharing, too. Here’s how:
- Post this Rideshare Week flyer (above) at your worksite
- Host an on-site Rideshare Week event for your employees
- Set up a table in your office lobby or break room for employees to learn more about your rideshare program and incentives offered to reduce drive alone commuting
- Invite Metro or your local transit agency to host a table or Lunch & Learn at your worksite to help your employees learn about taking transit to get to work
- Use #RideshareWeek on your posts and be sure to include the resources in our social media toolkit to tout the benefits of ridesharing!
