On Thursday, November 20, you’ll have the chance to meet three of the 27 artists creating artworks woven into the structures of the seven new stations of the D Line Subway Extension Project.
Join Craft Contemporary and Metro Art as they present artists Fran Siegel, Karl Haendel and Soo Kim in conversation with Senior Curator Frida Cano Dominguez.
The event will include a reception with refreshments and a panel discussion to learn more about the artists, their artistic practice and unique approach to each of their site-specific artworks commissioned by Metro Art for the future Purple (D Line) Extension -Section 1 Stations: Wilshire/La Brea, Wilshire/Fairfax, Wilshire/La Cienega.

Parking
Metered and two-hour street parking is available within a block of Craft Contemporary. Please carefully read the specific parking times on the street signs. Please note that Craft Contemporary is unable to validate parking for metered lots.
Attendees can also park at Wilshire Courtyard, 5700-5750 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90036. Parking rates at Wilshire Courtyard are $3.00 for every 12 minutes, $24 daily max until 5 pm; hours are 8 am to 5 pm Monday thru Friday. Closed Saturday and Sunday. The 5700 garage has entrance on Masselin Street. The 5750 garage has entrance on Courtyard Place. Validation is unavailable.
