Metro’s Maintenance team took top honors last month at the International Bus Roadeo for the third year in a row and it was the second year in a row that Metro was crowned Grand Champion!
We also earned the 2026 Bus Security Gold Award for our innovative Bus Barrier project.
A big shoutout to the Maintenance team from Division 13 — Alain Gomez, Octavio Ortega Ramirez and Edward Hinojosa along with Division 13 Bus Operator Nelson Zapata. Their commitment to safety, service and innovation continues to set the standard for public transit across North America.
