Join our Telephone Town Hall on February 4 

Do you want to help shape the future of Metro? Help us kick-off our FY26 budget discussion by joining Metro and its leaders at the Telephone Town Hall on Tuesday, February 4, at 6 p.m. PST. 

Metro’s Telephone Town Hall is an opportunity for you to share your thoughts on our initiatives, including keeping you safe throughout your trip, expanding and improving service, and enhancing your experience. Your input is critical to ensuring that the budget reflects the needs and priorities of the public.   

Like past telephone town halls, Metro randomly contacts approximately 100,000 residents from various ethnic and economic backgrounds across Los Angeles County through an automated telephone system to participate in the public forum.  

When residents answer their phones, they will be prompted to join in English or Spanish. This is an open forum, and it will be recorded and made available to the public and the news media.

There will be more public budget outreach between now and next spring including public hearings, community meetings and listening sessions, as well as an interactive survey. At the beginning of May Metro will release a proposed budget for public review which will be followed by a public hearing and then the Metro Board of Directors will consider it for adoption.
