From October 5 – 9, 2026, Metro encourages commuters to leave their car at home and try ridesharing options such as carpooling, taking the bus or train, vanpooling, biking, or walking. It is a chance to “Drive Less = Save More” while enjoying a more affordable, eco-friendly commute.
Track your daily trips for a chance to win prizes!
- Go to www.ridematch.info and log-in/register
- Click on join the Commute Challenge – give yourself a “fun” name
- Log your “green” commute trips during the entire month of October, but especially during Rideshare Week (October 5-9, 2026) for extra entries into the prize drawing
- At the end of the month, Metro will tally all participants and enter them into the prize drawing – the more days logged, the more entries you will receive

- Invite Metro or your local transit agency to host a table or Lunch & Learn at your worksite to help your employees learn about taking transit to get to work
