The Dodgers are 11 wins away from their third consecutive World Series championship this weekend, hosting Games 1 and 2 of the National League Division Series on Saturday and Sunday at Dodger Stadium. They’ll play the winner of Thursday’s Wild Card game between the Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies.
A very important heads-up: huge crowds are expected for every Dodger postseason game. Please arrive early and allow plenty of time to board the bus and get to the stadium.
The free Dodger Stadium Express will run for every Dodgers home playoff game through the World Series. Service from both Union Station and the South Bay begins three hours before the scheduled start of each game.
The bus is FREE to those with a game ticket and is a great way to skip traffic and parking hassles.
Dodger Stadium Express from Union Station

•Union Station service operates from Union Station West on the front side of the station facing Alameda Street. Follow the signs to the boarding area. It’s the same location used during the regular season.
•Buses run every five to 10 minutes beginning three hours before game time and continue through the end of the second inning.
•Buses drop off riders before the game and pick them up afterward at the same stop behind center field.
•The old Top Deck stop is no longer served. This helps improve bus travel times.
•Return service ends one hour after the final out or 30 minutes after the conclusion of any post-game events, whichever is later.
•Union Station is easy to reach via the Metro A, B and D Line trains, the J Line bus and many local buses. Union Station is also the regional hub for Metrolink and Amtrak.
•Parking is available at Union Station for $8 per day on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that the garage often fills for big games — and every postseason game is a big game.
Arrive early. You can also find parking at other Metro stations and ride our system to Union Station. There are also plenty of private lots and garages in downtown LA near our rail system.
Dodger Stadium Express from the South Bay
•Board at Slauson, Manchester, Harbor Freeway or Rosecrans stations, or at Harbor Gateway Transit Center in Bay 9.
•Buses operate every 20 minutes beginning three hours before game time. The last bus leaves Harbor Gateway Transit Center at game time.
•Buses drop off riders behind right field. Return service to the South Bay picks up at the same location after the game.
•Return service begins after the end of the seventh inning and ends one hour after the final out or 30 minutes after the conclusion of any post-game events, whichever is later.
•Free parking is available at Harbor Gateway, Rosecrans, Harbor Freeway, Manchester and Slauson stations on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that parking at Harbor Gateway Transit Center is subject to a $3 daily fee for Sunday games during the NFL season.
Other helpful tips for riding

•Our rail and busway system map is above. The map also shows Amtrak and Metrolink regional rail routes — Union Station is a hub for both.
•The Dodger Stadium Express is free with a game ticket, but regular fares apply on other Metro buses and trains. The regular adult fare is $1.75 one way or $3.50 round trip.
•Two children ages 6 and younger can ride free on Metro with each fare-paying adult.
•To ride Metro, you can pay with a debit card, credit card or with a TAP fare card. TAP vending machines are located at all Metro Rail and Busway stations. NOTE: One TAP card can be used for only one person.
•To plan your transit trip, use the new Metro app. Download for free from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
•There is usually a line to board buses after games — especially close games when many fans leave at the same time. We’ll do our best to keep the lines moving, and we appreciate your patience.
Have a great time, baseball fans! Here’s hoping October ends the same way it did in 2024 and 2025: with another championship, a big ol’ parade through DTLA and gobs of fans riding our system to get there 🙂⚾️🏆
