Screamfest Horror Film Festival
Get into spooky season with a weekend at a horror movie festival! Screamfest is taking over the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood with a lineup of thrilling, chilling films from American and international independent horror filmmakers.

BLOCtober BOOfest at the BLOC
BLOCtober at The Bloc in DTLA will be a festive evening featuring tons of Halloween fun for all ages! Come for the trick-or-treating, face painting and playing in the pumpkin patch, stay for an outdoor screening of The Nightmare Before Christmas and a chance to get your picture taken with Jack Skellington.

Latino Carnaval
The Latino Carnaval is taking over South Park Recreation Center in South L.A. to close out Latino Heritage Month with a day of music, food, culture and community pride. The family-friendly fun will include carnival rides, a Ferris wheel, kids games, local food, arts vendors and Lucha Libre wrestling. The lineup for the live music stages is jam-packed with favorites such as La Original Banda El Limón and Banda Maguey, Baby Bash, Frankie J, Oro Sólido, Nina Sky, Amanda Perez, Paula DeAnda and Sonora Dinamita.

Pasadena Latino Heritage Festival
This year’s Pasadena Latino Heritage Festival celebrates the Latino community, which continues to grow, thrive and honor its roots while contributing to the vibrancy of Pasadena life. Pull up to City Hall for exciting live music and dance performances representing the rich diversity of Latin America, and stay for family-friendly cultural arts and crafts, bounce houses and other games for kids, food, an artisan marketplace and community resource booths.

I really wish that they amended more routes for San Gabriel Valley, if metro doesn’t want to do that, then they should have Foothill or Munis allow for services. If I ever apply and get hired day one I’m changing their bus routes to have more service to different areas. Thank you for your understanding.
