Anime Expo is back at the L.A. Convention Center this weekend. As one of Southern California’s largest anime events, it brings together fans from around the world to celebrate anime, fandom, and culture.
It’s easy to Go Metro to the Anime Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center from July 2 through July 5.
- Our Pico Station — shared by the A Line and E Line light rail trains — is a one-block walk from the Convention Center.
- We’ll have Metro Ambassadors at Pico Station to assist riders.
- Our J Line bus also stops adjacent to the Convention Center — use Flower/Pico stop for southbound buses and Figueroa/Pico stop for northbound buses.
After the event you can also take the A or E Line to Little Tokyo/Arts District Station for a wide a selection of Japanese restaurants, anime shops, manga bookstores, boba tea and much more.

Regular Metro fares are $1.75 one-way. Two children six or under ride free with each paying adult. Click here for more info on fares.
Metro Bike Share stations are also available at the following locations:
- Figueroa & 11th
- Figueroa & Pico
- Pico & Flower
- Grand & 14th
1-Ride Metro Bike Passes are just $1.75 for each 30 minutes and can be purchased online, through the Metro Bike Share app or at any Metro Bike Share kiosk.
