DS Night Market
The DS Thai and international night market pops up near Chinatown’s Central Plaza to serve up delicious dishes, desserts and drinks from Asian and fusion street food vendors. From drunken noodles and pad thai to coconut cakes and birria ramen, the market offers a range of flavors to delight anyone’s taste buds.
Friday and Saturday 5 – 11 p.m., Sunday 4 – 10 p.m.
Go Metro: Take the A Line to Chinatown Station, and it’s a short walk through Blossom Plaza and across Broadway to Mei Ling Way
Los Angeles Art Show
From modern to contemporary art, the Los Angeles Art Show brings together 120 galleries, museums, and nonprofit arts organizations from all around the world to celebrate and highlight art in all of its forms. Come for all the art visuals and performances, and stay for the immersive experiences, panel discussions with art-world experts, tours and more.
Runs through February 23.
Go Metro: Take A or E Line to Pico Station, which is a one-block walk from the L.A. Convention Center in downtown L.A.
Friday, February 21
Bob Baker Marionette Theater’s Something to Crow About
Something to Crow About is the original Bob Baker spectacular that originated in 1959. The revitalized show mesmerizes its audience with musical elements, satirical comedy and a fantastic world of marionettes and make-believe. A portion of ticket sales from the Friday performance will benefit the Altadena Seed Library as they help L.A. recover from the wildfires.

Saturday, February 22
Broxton Plaza Grand Opening at Westwood Village
Westwood Village is hosting a Grand Opening celebration for Broxton Plaza, which now holds title for the largest pedestrian plaza in L.A. The kickoff events feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, community activities, a free roller skate area with rentals and protective gear to borrow for free, a soft play area for kids, and live music from UCLA Marching Band and other student groups.

Go Metro: Take Line 2 or 720 to along Wilshire Bl to Westwood
L.A. Black History Month Festival at Pan Pacific Park
The annual celebration of Black heritage and culture, presented by Open Arms Food Pantry and Resource Center, comes to Pan Pacific Park for a day filled with live performances, an African marketplace, food vendors and a community forum discussion on topics that affect health and other issues related to the African American community.

Go Metro: Take Line 14 to exit Beverly/Gardner or Line 16 to 3rd/Gardner
L.A. Kings Hockey
With the Four Nations tourney now over, the Kings resume their season by hosting Utah on Saturday evening.
Go Metro: Take the A or E Line to Pico Station, which is a one-block walk from Crypto.com Arena in downtown L.A. The Metro J Line bus, as well as other local bus routes, also stop near the arena.
Sunday, February 23
CicLAvia – West Adams meets University Park
In this edition of L.A.’s favorite car-free, open streets event, CicLAvia takes over Jefferson Boulevard between La Brea and Vermont, connecting West Adams District, Jefferson Park and University Park communities.
