The wait for Dodgers fans is over! The World Series champs return home this Sunday when our Dodger Stadium Express bus begins rolling to the exhibition game against the Angels. Service will resume for Opening Day versus the Detroit Tigers on Thursday and continue for every home game during the 2025 season.
The Dodger Stadium Express connects fans to the stadium from Union Station and five locations in the South Bay. The bus is free to those with a game ticket and is a great way to skip traffic and parking hassles/ransoms.
For fans coming from Union Station, there is a change for the new season: the bus boarding location will now be Union Station West — the Alameda Street side of the station that faces downtown L.A. Boarding is no longer at the bus plaza at Union Station East!
If you’re boarding at Union Station
- Service for the 2025 season starts 2.5 hours before game time through the end of the 2nd inning. On Sunday, service will begin at 2:40 p.m. for the Angels game and for the home opener, the Dodger Stadium Express begins running at 1:10 p.m.
- Buses drop off and pick up riders at two locations at the stadium: behind center field and at the top deck.
- Return trips to Union Station and the South Bay end 45 minutes after the final out or 20 minutes after post-game events, such as fireworks or drone shows.
- Union Station is easy to reach via Metro’s A, B and D Line trains. Please note: the B and D Line trains will be out of service between Union Station and 7th St/Metro Center Friday, March 28 through Sunday, March 30, 2025.
- The Metro J Line bus, local bus routes, Metrolink regional rail and Amtrak also serve Union Station.
- If you want to park at Union Station, the fee is $8 and space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. For big games, the garage does sometimes fill — so arrive early.

If you’re coming from the South Bay
- You can board the Dodger Stadium Express at these stations: Slauson, Manchester, Harbor Freeway, Rosecrans, or Harbor Gateway Transit Center (Bay 9).
- Buses to the game run every 30 minutes starting 2.5 hours before game time, with the last bus leaving Harbor Gateway Transit Center at game time. On Sunday, service will begin at 2:40 p.m. for the Angels game and for the home opener, the Dodger Stadium Express begins running at 1:10 p.m.
- Buses will drop off and pick up behind right field.
- Return trips begin after the end of the 7th inning, with the last bus departing 45 minutes after the final out or 20 minutes after a post-game event.
- Free parking is available at Harbor Gateway, Rosecrans, Harbor Freeway, Manchester and Slauson stations on a first-come, first-served basis. Note, Harbor Gateway Transit Center is subject to a $3 rate for Sunday games during the NFL season.

- We encourage everyone to get to Union Station and the South Bay stations early, and appreciate everyone being patient and polite. We’ll do our best to quickly get everyone on a bus and to the ballpark!

And the answer is a resounding YES — the Dodger Stadium Express will also serve every home playoff and World Series game in 2025. Who will the Dodgers defeat to win the NL pennant: the upstart Cincinnati Reds. And who does L.A. thump to sweep this year’s World Series? The Dodgers will avenge their loss to the Baltimore Orioles in ’66. 🏆

Good for you adding another HOUR to the start time! Last season, I quit on the shuttle because even when I arrived at Union Station at 5:30 I still didn’t reach my seat until the third inning. That was UNACCEPTABLE. Also, when two or more buses are Qed up for passengers, you should direct people to board both at the same time. You’d be boarding two buses in the time it takes to board one!
My comment is it sometimes takes close to an hour to get to the bus at the end of the game. There are hundreds of people waiting for the bus. And there is sometimes 20 minutes between buses. You need more buses.
Cool, but build better transit to the dodger stadium! The parking lot is a monstrosity and the alternatives get stuck in traffic and are low capacity despite the high demand. I wouldn’t mind light rail or even the gondolas.
The bus needs to make a stop at Little Tokyo or something similar so that E-line folk can get on without additional intermediate transfers.
