Daily paid parking now available at Downtown Azusa Station

We’re excited to share some great news for riders and visitors: daily paid parking is now available at the Downtown Azusa parking structure!

Until now, parking was only offered through monthly permits. With this change, both transit riders and community members have more flexible options to fit their needs. 

Going forward, parking fees at the station will be: 

• $3 per day for transit patrons
• $1 per hour (up to 3 hours) for the general public

Pay via the Metro Parking mobile app, available for download on Google Play and the Apple App store, or at the on-site parking kiosk. 

Parking at the nearby APU/Citrus station is consistently full, making it difficult for many riders to find a space. The Downtown Azusa structure is less than a mile away, offering an easy and reliable alternative for those heading to transit.

Along with daily parking, Metro has made a few other improvements at the Downtown Azusa structure to make your experience safer and more welcoming:

• Elevators now feature an open door setting, mitigating loitering and illicit activity.
  
• Classical music is being played inside the structure to create a more comfortable atmosphere.

This initiative was made possible through a strong partnership between Metro, the City of Azusa, and Foothill Transit. Together, we’re working to bring convenient, customer-friendly solutions that make it easier to choose transit.
