The first phase of the D Line Extension is open, connecting Beverly Hills to downtown Los Angeles and the celebration is just getting started. For the first 90 days of service, Metro is partnering with nearly a dozen local small businesses to transform Wilshire/Fairfax, Wilshire/La Brea and Wilshire/La Cienega stations into vibrant community destinations. Riders can expect farmers markets, coffee service, salsa dance classes, craft markets and more throughout May and June. Find a list of station activations below.

Metro Station Activations

PRO Dance Free Outdoor Salsa Class

An interactive salsa class transform the station plaza into a live dance floor. Open to all skill levels.

Every other Saturday starting May 9, 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Small Shop

A recurring retail activation spotlighting local entrepreneurs and small businesses, creating consistent opportunities for community commerce and rider engagement.

Coffee Cart Service

Local coffee vendors enhance the morning commute with high-quality beverage options during peaking commute hours.

Elllas Coffee will be at Wilshire/Fairfax Station.
