The media is waiting for a news conference to begin in which officials are expected to announce when the 405 freeway will be reopened over the Sepulveda Pass.

Metro’s Peter Watkinson took these photos beginning early Saturday and continuing throughout the day of the work to partially tear down the Mulholland Drive Bridge over the 405 freeway.
