Starting Sunday, December 14, we’re making changes to our bus service to provide you with more frequent and reliable rides. We’re changing routes to make it easier to get around, adding buses on some routes for faster trips, and updating schedules so you can spend less time waiting at stops.
You can see updated schedules at http://metro.net/MyBus.

Route Adjustments
We’re making strategic route changes to improve access to key destinations, improve regional connectivity and resolve operational issues.
Line 30 (Downtown LA – Pico/Rimpau Transit Center)
Due to the LA Convention Center Expansion & Modernization Project, Line 30 will detour from Pico Boulevard and back to Pico via Union Avenue, Olympic Boulevard and Figueroa Street in both directions. This detour will begin on December 4, 2025, and is expected to last for 18 months.
Line 60 (Downtown LA – Artesia Station)
To improve late-night bus and rail connections, three late-night southbound trips during A Line service hours will be modified to terminate service at the Artesia Station, instead of continuing to downtown Long Beach. Regular owl service to downtown Long Beach will begin at midnight.
Line 106 (Shops at Montebello – Monterey Park via Union Station)
Line 106 will be renumbered to Line 74 to reflect Metro’s standard route numbering convention for services operating within the downtown Los Angeles area.
Line 206 (Hollywood – Athens)
Line 206 will be rerouted northbound only, between the Hollywood/Edgemont stop and the layover location at Fountain Av/Vermont Av in Hollywood. The revised routing will operate via Hollywood Boulevard, Vermont Avenue, Sunset Boulevard, Lyman Place and Fountain Avenue. Southbound service will not change. This route change will create more direct and accessible connections to destinations in Hollywood.
Line 602 (Westwood – Pacific Palisades via Sunset Boulevard)
Line 602 to Pacific Palisades will be fully restored, coordinated with fire recovery efforts. Route, stops, and service levels will return to pre-detour status.
Line 660 (Del Mar Station – Altadena) will be fully restored
Route, stops and the number of trips will return to what they were prior to the Eaton Fire and coordinated to fire recovery efforts.
Line 662 to Altadena to be fully restored (Del Mar Station – Altadena/ Lake Layover)
Line 660 and 662 routes, stops, and service levels will return to what they were prior to the Eaton Fire and coordinated with fire recovery efforts.
El Monte Station (Upper Terminal)
The J Line (910/950) will use Bays 26 and 27 instead of Bays 18 and 19. This change will improve J Line operations and help with charging electric buses used on the J Line.
Foothill Transit Lines 486, 488 and 492 will be relocated to Bays 18, 19 and 20. The Silver Streak will continue to serve Bays 21 and 22.
Between the hours of 2 a.m. and 4 a.m., Metro Lines 70 and 76 will be reassigned from Bays 26 and 27 to Bays 18 and 19.
Rail Service Changes
There are no rail schedule changes as part of the Dec. 14 service change.

How come the C line was cut to every 20 minutes between Norwalk and Willowbrook/Rosa Parks? This was not announced anywhere, there are no alerts for it, and does not match the service that was running before the recent maintenance work.
Finding out about the frequency being halved only when arriving at the station is not acceptable.
