Many years ago–when the terminal was not as busy as today–I ate in this magnificent room. I would hope and expect another eating establishment could find a home here, preferably something popularly priced but not a chain. Something train or trolley oriented, perhaps, or travel oriented with some of those wonderful art deco travel posters and a feel of the great days of long-distance rail travel. Although admittedly down market, I could also see a Pantry-style restaurant–it is wildly popular in its present location and a clone might do equally well at the other end of downtown. Maybe the ex-mayor would be interested. Just some ideas. Thanks for attention.
