The ride you were made for: how to get to Billie Eilish at Kia Forum on May 16

Did you score tickets to Billie Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft listening party next week … the day before the new album drops? Don’t want to drive all the way to Kia Forum? We hear you! There are three easy ways to get to and from Kia Forum on Metro. Bonus: riding Metro will be free on May 16!   

Kia Forum Shuttle Routes:

Rail Option 1 

Best for fans coming from the Westside, Eastside, Central LA and points north. Take the E Line to Expo/Crenshaw Station and transfer to the K Line across the street. 

If coming from the San Fernando Valley, take the B Line to the E Line. If coming from the San Gabriel Valley, take the A Line to the E Line to the K Line. 

Take the K Line to the Downtown Inglewood Station (Pirate Station) and ride our free bus shuttle to Kia Forum. The shuttle will run 6:45 p.m. to 9 p.m. before the show. The shuttle will run for 70 minutes after the listening party ends. The last scheduled K Line train northbound is at 11:59 p.m. from Downtown Inglewood, arriving at Expo/Crenshaw Station at 12:14 a.m. From there, you can catch the E Line eastbound at 12:22 a.m. (getting you to 7th Street/Metro Center Station at 12:40 a.m.) and westbound at 12:19 a.m. and 12:39 a.m. We will add extra B Line trips from Union Station at 12:21 a.m. and 12:41 a.m. and extra D Line trips at 12:31 a.m. and 12:51 a.m. from Union Station so the last westbound B and D Line connections will be at 7th Street/Metro Center at 12:47 a.m. and 12:57 a.m. respectively. If you want to reach the B and D Lines after the concert, please take the K Line to the E Line.  

Rail Option 2 

For fans coming from the south and east:  If coming from Orange County — take the C Line from Norwalk Station. From the South Bay and El Segundo area –– take the C Line from Redondo Beach, Douglas, El Segundo or Mariposa stations. From the Long Beach area – take the A Line to Willowbrook/Rosa Parks Station and transfer to the C Line. 

Take the C Line to the Hawthorne/Lennox Station (Avocado Station) and ride our free shuttle to Kia Forum. The shuttle will run 6:45 p.m. to 9 p.m. before the show. The shuttle will run for 70 minutes after the concert ends. The last scheduled eastbound C Line is at 12:11 am. passing Willowbrook/Rosa Parks Station on the A Line 12:22 a.m. We will add a northbound A Line train passing Willowbrook/Rosa Parks Station at 12:32 a.m., which will get you to 7th Street/Metro Center by 1:03 a.m.  

Bus Option 

Taking Metro by bus: 

Line 115 on Firestone Bl/Manchester Av, exit at Manchester Av/Kareem Crt
Line 212 on La Brea Av, exit at Prairie Av/Kelso St 

If you’re new to our system or region, please keep in mind that our service area is HUGE. Riding to the more distant stations from Kia Forum can take 2+ hours. Plan ahead!

Parking 

We have parking at many of our stations for those who want to drive part of the way and park at a station: 

  • There are over 300 parking spots at the C Line’s Hawthorne/Lennox Station for $15 apiece that can be purchased online or $20 each when purchased on-site (if available). 
  • Other stations with parking on the C Line are Crenshaw ($3), Aviation ($3), Norwalk ($3) and Redondo Beach (free). To pay, use the on-site kiosks. 
  • There are 80 parking spots at the K Line’s Fairview Heights Station ($3). 
  • There are 400 parking spots at the Expo/Crenshaw Station ($3) served by our E Line and K Line trains. The parking is in a garage one block north of the station. Purchase on site.

Fares 

May 16, 2024, is a Metro Free Fare Day, so all rides on the Metro system are free, including bus shuttles to and from Kia Forum from the C and K Lines.

  • Obey all warning lights at rail crossings.
