Take Metro to experience the joy of ice skating with family and friends and participate in the annual Holiday Cheer Toy Giveaway. This event will also highlight cultural groups, local vendors, food and live entertainment.
To reach the event, take the K Line to Leimert Park Station. The K Line runs between the Crenshaw Corridor and Inglewood with paid parking available at Fairview Heights Station and street parking near other stations. Plan your trip with Google Maps, Apple Maps, the Transit app, Moovit app or metro.net.
This ice-skating event is a great place for family, friends and members of our communities to gather. Skating promotes wellness to an underprivileged/underserved community that often lacks access to opportunities for enrichment and a healthier lifestyle.
Skating will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on December 15-17. Leimert Park is located at 4395 Leimert Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90008.

The Metro LIFE Street Teams will be there on Friday, December 15, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to help eligible individuals get discounted fares.
The LIFE program helps qualifying LA County residents save on fares. Once you’re in the program, you can load 20 free regional rides each month or purchase a discounted pass on any of the 13 LIFE participating transit agencies. If you’re new to the program, you will get a free 90-day pass.
See you at Leimert Park!
Metro’s regular fares are $1.75 for a one-way trip with free transfers for two hours. Fares can be paid with TAP cards. TAP cards can be purchased from TAP vending machines at all Metro Rail and Busway stations. Riders can also use their smartphones as a TAP card by downloading the TAP app, available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
