Hey LA! Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 28, and get ready for a unique celebration of community and culture. We’ll be hanging at one of our newest stations, Historic Broadway, which is part of Metro’s Regional Connector. What’s in it for you? Smoother, faster, and transfer-free rides throughout LA’s downtown core … and some stunning station art, to boot.
So join us at Historic Broadway Station for “Celebrating Connections” from 11am to 3pm! This FREE event will feature local food purveyors (free while supplies last), creative workshops, and LA Conservancy-guided tours that describe the stories behind the neighborhood’s notable historic landmarks. There will also be a Metro Art Presents music festival featuring live performances by DJ QUILO of La Papaya Club, Plaza de la Raza’s Folklor Pasión Mexicana, Spaghetti Cumbia, Rhythms of the Village Band, and the New Orleans Traditional Jazz Band.
Hope to see you there!
