Service Advisory: shuttle train to replace Northbound A Line (Blue) service between Washington Station and 7th/Metro Center Station

 Metro will perform urgent overhead wire work on a section of Metro A Line (Blue) on Tuesday, May 30 – Sunday, June 4, 2023 from 6 a.m. – end of service This work will require interruption of Northbound rail service between Washington Station and 7th/Metro Center Station. 

A free shuttle train will be available to transport passengers between the following five (5) stations:

  • Washington
  • San Pedro St
  • Grand/LATTC
  • Pico
  • 7th St/Metro Center

Shuttle trains will run with a 25-30 minute headway, so please allow extra travel time. Passengers can follow the temporary signs for directions. Riders are encouraged to use the J Line (Silver) as an alternate route.

Train service will continue to run Southbound from 7th/Metro Center Station to Washington Station.
