A heads up to those traveling on the C Line this Friday, May 12. Metro, The Los Angeles Sheriffs Department and other law enforcement agencies will be conducting a joint safety exercise between 9 a.m and 3 p.m. to test facilities’ emergency preparedness. Please note this is only a drill.
During the exercise, buses will replace C Line trains between El Segundo and Redondo Beach. This means all westbound trains will travel as far as El Segundo and turn back towards Norwalk.
Bus shuttles will be available at El Segundo, Douglas and Redondo Beach Stations. Please allow extra travel time while transferring to bus shuttles.
We realize the closure is an inconvenience and we appreciate your understanding. Metro personnel will be on hand to assist at all stations impacted by the exercise. Normal service will resume at 3 p.m. Friday.
