Metro is working to make streets and sidewalks safe and convenient for everyone to support healthy neighborhoods. We are working to identify improvements in the Culver City Station area. Improvements focus on enhancing safety and access for transit riders accessing the station on foot, bike, or other rolling modes.
Join Metro, Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT), BikeLA, and Walk ‘n Rollers for a community meeting to identify strengths, barriers, and opportunities for walking, biking, and accessing public transportation in the 1/2-mile radius area around the Culver City Station on the E line (Expo).
If you live, work, and/or play in the Culver City Station area join us to discuss the First/Last Mile improvements for the Culver City Station!
Date: Wednesday, April 12th 2023
Time: 6:00pm-8:00pm
Location:
8745 Washington Blvd, Culver City, CA 90232
Register to attend at bit.ly/CCExpo1stLastMile. Details for traveling to the venue are provided with registration.
Metro will also be seeking your input on First/Last Mile Improvements with comments like adding street lights and trees, as well as possible street design changes, such as bike lanes, crosswalks, and sidewalk improvements. Additionally, attendees will learn about related projects that focus on safety in the Culver City Station area.

Isn’t Culver City in the process of removing all bus/bike lanes in Downtown Culver City. You know, within the first and last mile?
The pilot project for Move Culver City was a big success, and they’ll be discussing it at the next city council meeting on 4/24. I would hope the council members receive enough feedback to make these changes permanent… if they’re listening, that is.

Yes, this is because Sony complained bus lanes were an inconvenience.
