Metro is working to make streets and sidewalks safe and convenient for everyone to support healthy neighborhoods as part of the Metro Active Transportation (MAT) grant program. We are working to identify improvements in the Western/Slauson area. Improvements focus on enhancing safety and access for transit riders accessing the station on foot, bike, or other rolling modes.
Metro’s First/Last Mile (F/LM) team, along with the City of Los Angeles’ StreetsLA is hosting a project Kick-Off Community Meeting. The Kick-Off Community Meeting will include an activity for community input.
If you live, work, and/or play in the Western/Slauson area, join us to discuss the First/Last Mile improvements for the Western/Slauson intersection!

And, what is the Western/Slauson bus station? There’s no bus station there today… and the Metro F/LM and BSS websites don’t show any plans. Is there a project I missed?
Parking information… but no transit directions? All too clear what Metro is prioritizing.
