Lunar New Year TAP cards are now available at Metro Customer Centers and select rail stations

Celebrate Lunar New Year with a new TAP card commemorating the Year of the Rabbit!

Cards are now available at Metro Customer Centers and at Metro rail stations below. Use your TAP card to travel on Metro and 25 additional transit agencies throughout LA County. Be sure to check the header on top of the TVM before purchase to ensure card availability. Cards are $2 plus the cost of fare. Available while supplies last.

  1. The Wilshire/Western station is not part of the B Line (Red). It is part of the D Line (Purple).
    Metro has mishandled this line so often, that this type of mistake is likely to occur. They frequently cancel the D Line for maintenance. The D Line does not have its own timetable.

  2. Heh, Metro is actually giving me a reason to use the system, ehh!

    2 things though (I’ll actually be nice and say pretty please): 1, I’m not sure if this is a limitation to Apple Pay but is it possible to have the digital pass actually reflect the artwork of the physical card and not the generic one? And 2, please make one for the year of the dragon as well, thanks.
