UPDATE, 3:30 p.m.: Power has been restored and normal rail service has resumed between Pico/Aliso Station and Atlantic. The usual bus shuttle — due to Regional Connector construction — between Union Station and Pico/Aliso is also running. Thanks for your patience.

About 9:20 a.m. we lost power on a segment of the Eastside L (Gold) Line that included Mariachi Plaza, Soto and Indiana stations. As a result, those stations are without power.

We’re still working to resolve the issue. In the meantime, we’ve extended the bus shuttles that run between Union Station and Pico/Aliso to  Mariachi Plaza, Soto, Indiana and Maravilla stations. Train service is operating between Maravilla Station and Atlantic Station.

We have staff on hand to help riders reach the bus bridge as we try to fix the power issue. We also encourage you to look for service updates on Twitter — our service alerts are posted to our @MetroLAalerts stream.
