The new bike lockers at Martin Luther King Jr. Station.
For those of who bike to the K Line, good news: bike lockers are now available at the following stations:
- Expo/Crenshaw
- MLK Jr.
- Leimart Park
- Fairview Heights
- Downtown Inglewood
Lockers are available on a first-come, first-serve basis with a contract term of 6 months. There’s a $50 refundable key deposit + $24 fee for a total upfront cost of $74 for the first six months. Rentals can be found here along with an frequently asked questions about our rental program.

So, the stations were opened without these? Where was the source of the delay that caused this? Was it planning (did someone forget to put the order in on time)? Was it execution (did they arrive and the contractor forgot about them sitting in their yard)? This seems like a big goof, opening incomplete stations. Weren’t the stations largely complete for 6-9 months before the line opened?
