Weekend rail service on the C Line (Green) will be suspended between Long Beach Blvd and Norwalk Station due to signal system upgrades starting at 11 a.m. Friday, September 30 to Sunday, October 2 close of service.
While the work is in effect, Lakewood and Norwalk Station will be closed. This means eastbound trains will run as far as Long Beach Blvd and turn back towards Redondo Beach. Service will be maintained with free bus shuttles between Long Beach Blvd and Norwalk.
Metro staff will be on hand to lend assistance at all C Line stations where bus shuttles are running. Please allow extra travel time for your trip. Regular service to all stations will resume at start of service Monday, October 3.

Know it’s after-the-fact, but at least Metro is actually properly replacing service. Too many times have they completely abandoned customers… 128 cancellations and the dropping of the 130 hurt.
