Extend your Labor Day weekend by attending Metro’s Older Adult Transportation Pop-Up in Lynwood on Tuesday, September 6 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. With summer nearing an end, older adults attending this event will be ready to explore the best transit-friendly destinations in the Gateway Cities region of L.A. County this fall season!
The event will be hosted by Metro’s On the Move Riders Program and will provide older adults with educational presentations (in both English and Spanish), information about Metro services, programs and other regional transit options to increase older adults’ confidence to use public transportation.
Attendees will be able to apply for their free Senior TAP Card and learn about the benefits of having one.
Date and Time: Tuesday, September 6 from 10 to 11:30am
Presentation will begin promptly at 10am. Masks are required to attend this event.
Location: L.A. Care Blue Shield Promise Community Center, 3200 E. Imperial Hwy, Lynwood, 90262, Adjacent to Plaza Mexico (Free parking is available on-site)
