Happy 4th of July! Celebrate Independence Day with Metro and purchase a commemorative TAP card, available today at Metro Customer Centers and select Metro rail stations listed below. Be sure to check the header on top of the TAP vending machine before purchase to ensure card availability. Cards are $2 plus the cost of fare. Available while supplies last.

  1. hi steve. new tap cards ajt new crenshaw pink line opens on halloween thanksgiving christmas newyears days at 12am and 2 new transit centers in south bay area 1. new south bay transit center its on kings dale ave in redondo beach 2. new torrance transit center on crenshaw BLVD AND 208 STREET.

  2. When will the summer cards come out? I’ve seen them on an ad at the Rosa Parks customer service center.

      Follow-up — summer cards are coming but we don’t have exact date yet. Keep an eye on the blog and our social media. We’ll post when they’re ready to go and where you can get them.

  3. Metro should now be using the letters as the primary and the colors/names as secondary. This is true ahead of the opening of the K (Crenshaw).

  4. I noticed the Spring TAP cards at a few stations & customer centers lately, were they ever mentioned on The Source?
