Service Advisory: A Line (Blue) trains share 1 track at San Pedro St and Washington Station this weekend

Metro will perform urgent track work beginning at 9 p.m., Friday, June 24, 2022 until 6 p.m., Saturday, June 25, 2022. A Line (Blue) trains will run every 20 minutes and share 1 track at San Pedro and Washington Station. 

Metro staff will be on site and able to provide assistance at all stations affected. Please allow extra travel time to complete your commute.

They built the Blue Line to non Standard specifications and now 20 years later we are still felling the effects of the amateurs at the then LACTC lack of understanding as to how to build a light rail line. When will it ever end ? They lack the intelligence to build light rail where patronage is high and instead build will it politically correct( bribes) and not where there is high ridership.

    • I mean, they never left. LACTC = LACMTA. The state of California destroyed the future of LA’s transportation in 1976 and 45 years here we are feeling the pain. This agency needs to die and have a completely brand new agency with strict oversight take over.
