In collaboration with Metro’s On the Move Riders Program, Metro Art invites the public to an upcoming series of in-person art and architectural tours of Union Station. The tours take place on May 25, June 7 and June 23, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The free tours will cover the art and architecture of Union Station, and welcome visitors to spaces generally not open to the public. Led by trained Metro Art Docent Council volunteers, the tours will provide insights into the artworks, artists and history of the landmark station. Rail safety and rider tips will also be provided by Metro staff.
Please RSVP here for one of the three tours. Registration will close 24 hours in advance of each tour. You will receive the meet up location after your RSVP is confirmed. Please bring proof of RSVP when you arrive.
And friendly reminder: As of Friday April 22, masks are required indoors at Union Station in accordance with the L.A. County Department of Public Health order.
All Metro tours are accessible to persons with disabilities. ADA accommodations and translation are available by calling 213.922.2299 at least 72 hours in advance.
