Metro Art Presents Deep Routes with dublab – Saturday, May 7

Metro Art is proud to present Deep Routes with dublab this Saturday, May 7, at Union Station. The free, primarily outdoor event manifests the collaborative radio documentary series on LA music histories and transit geographies. The event will feature live music, DJs and a jukebox filled with original 45s from the Atomic Cafe.

Deep Routes debuted in Summer 2020 with six episodes that each took a unique approach to sharing audio histories of Downtown Los Angeles, Wilshire, the Crenshaw District, Sunset, Silver Lake and Frogtown along the Los Angeles River.

If you’ve been waiting for more episodes, we’ve got some good news for you! Deep Routes will return this month with six new episodes and a dedicated website that will take you on music and transit journeys connecting the greater LA region from the San Gabriel and San Fernando valleys and to Central LA. ⁣
