May is National Bike Month and it’s almost here! Join us during the month of May to celebrate bicycling as a sustainable and healthy way to get to work — or anywhere you need to go. We are also recognizing Bike to Work Day on Thursday, May 19, which will coincide with Bike Week (May 16-20).
Have Fun, Win Prizes
Throughout Bike Month, you have a chance to win great prizes when you track your bike commute trips, including gift cards and more! To qualify for the prize drawing, just log into ridematch.info, set up a profile and then track your bike trips on the calendar. The more you bike to work, the more chances you have to win. Good news: If you already log your trips on ridematch.info, you’re automatically entered into the drawing.
Help Spread the Word
Metro is encouraging you to tell your friends and family about your cycling success on social media with the hashtags #BikeThere, #BikeAnytime, #BikeAnyDay and #BikeAnywhere — especially during Bike Week and on Bike to Work Day with #BikeWeek and #BikeToWorkDay.
